INCOMERS GET NICE NEW WARM HOUSES WHILE HOMELESS FACE THE STORM TONIGHT.

Six areas of County Kilkenny are now part of the Syrian refugee resettlement programme as the Irish homeless despair in the face of the beast from the east today.
Callan, Rosbercon & Graiguenamanagh are the places that are housing the first wave of refugee families that the government has managed to persuade to come to Ireland.
[The Council has already resettled over a dozen refugee families in new houses in Urlingford at Togher Way]
Thomastown is now being brought into position to house the next wave.
Then Ballyhale and Inistioge. This will be done as soon as they get their Yes Men and Yes Women councillors back , as they hope after the local elections on May 24th.
In a statement to KCLR, they say the intention is to purchase houses where possible and some houses will also be provided by Approved Voluntary Housing Bodies.
They tell us about the impossible when they state that they are also trying to ensure there’ll be as little impact as possible on the existing social housing list of 2180 local housing applicants, while also giving the houses away to the Incomers – that’s making a nonsense of English language usage and basic arithmetic.
